I am a newcommer to the fish fry scene, and am gathering up a group to go this Friday. Do you have a favorite so far? We're excited to try it out, but would rather avoid the less tasteful ones. Thoughts?

It's like children -- it's hard to pick a favorite but if I had to, it would be St. Alphonsus. Their walleye is excellent. You have to be willing to put up with a long wait during peak hours (unless you get take-out), but you can use that wait time to visit. Have fun!
